EV Charging Station Installation
Electric vehicle charging stations installed at your home or business.
Chapter 01
Charging where you park, at home or at the business
A charger is only useful if it sits where the vehicle does. Pro Phase Electric installs electric vehicle charging stations at homes and at businesses across Northwest Arkansas, so the plug ends up on the garage wall, the side of the house or the shop lot where the vehicle really rests overnight or through the workday. Owner Presley Curry has been in the trade since 2006, and an EV circuit gets the same treatment as any other service he runs: plan the route first, then build it clean.
Google reviewer Jennifer Vashkevich had an EV charger installed at their home and an outlet fixed at their business, and wrote that Pro Phase showed up when they said they would and communicated clearly throughout. That is how a charger job should go from Lowell to Bentonville, Bella Vista to Fayetteville: a straight conversation about where you park, what you drive and how you charge, before anything gets mounted on the wall.

A dedicated circuit, run to where you plug in
An EV charger is a long, steady load, which is why it gets its own circuit instead of sharing one with the garage lights or a chest freezer. The work starts at the panel and follows the wiring path out to the mounting spot: through the attic or crawlspace when that is the shortest clean route, in metal conduit along the exterior when the charging point lives outside. The photo on this page shows that kind of finish, a receptacle mounted on house siding with conduit running up the wall behind it.
Before any wire is pulled, Pro Phase checks that your panel has the capacity for the new circuit. A panel already carrying an electric range, a dryer and a heat pump has a different answer than a lightly loaded one, and it is far better to learn that on the first visit than after a breaker starts tripping. With the capacity confirmed, the charging point is mounted at a height and spot that suits your parking, the cable run is secured, and the breaker is landed and labelled at the panel.
Chapter 03
When the panel needs work before the charger can go in
Sometimes the honest answer to an EV charger question is a bigger panel conversation. A panel with no open spaces, or with little capacity left, cannot safely take one more large circuit, and squeezing a charger in anyway is how nuisance trips and overheated breakers start. When that is the case, Pro Phase will talk you through a panel upgrade or a sub panel first, so the charger lands on a system built to carry it. The panel and breaker page explains how those jobs go.
Hope Carroll's Google review shows how that kind of conversation can go: Pro Phase was quick to respond and assess the situation, a sub panel was required, and it all works great. In Pea Ridge, Cave Springs, Tontitown or out toward West Fork, the first step is the same. Describe the vehicle, the garage and the panel to Presley at (479) 287-3650, and you will find out whether the charger can go straight in or the panel comes first.
